1. Gold & Red French Manicure
2. Retro Valentine Manicure
3. Gold Chain Upper Ring
1. This Gold&Red manicure is no different from the regular French manicure, except for the colors, of course. If you are skilled at doing the French manicure as I am, this should be no problem. I didn't use any stickers or anything, but that is also an option. All you have to do is paint your nails red, wait for the nail polish to dry, and then draw the line with the gold polish, and apply the top coat for the final touch. You can go with thin or thick line, and basically any color combination. Oh, and one more thing, if your nails are short (mine are in these photos) that is no problem, just draw the thinner line.
2. If you are a fan of nail art, but still like to keep it simple, here's one idea - tiny little burgundy hearts on pastel pink base. Girly, romantic and kinda retro, and not too complicated. What you have to do is paint your nails pastel pink, and wait until your polish is completely dry, so you don't ruin it with stickers. Then, take 10 stickers (one for each nail), fold each of them in half, then draw half of the heart and cut it out, creating a heart shaped hole in each sticker. Stick the sticker patterns onto your nails, make sure they don't move or detach from your nail. Paint over with the burgundy polish, wait for a couple of minutes till it dries a little (don't let it dry too much) and then carefully remove the stickers. You may have to do some corrections (I know I had to :), so you can use a toothpick or something like that. When the hearts are dry, apply the top coat, and you're good to go!
3. The gold chain upper ring must be the easiest and quickest DIY ever! All you have to do is measure your upper finger, cut out the piece of chain and piece the ends together and it's done. Piece of cake!
