pioneers of fashion photography

Pierre-Louis Pierson

Baron Adolf de Meyer

 Horst P. Horst

 George Hoyningen-Huene

Martin Munkacsi

Cecil Beaton

Richard Avedon
My ultimate favorite

Irving Penn

Louise Dahl-Wolfe

Let me introduce you to the pioneers of fashion photography. I'm writing an article about them for a magazine, so I did a little research on their work, and this is what I loved the most. Generally, I love vintage photography, so it was interesting for me to discover the first steps of fashion photography. My favorites from here are Richard Avedon, because his work is a bit twisted, and dynamic, and carries a strong emotions; and Louise Dahl-Wolfe, because her photos are so gentle, and they offer you a woman's view on women. Hope you enjoyed!
